Los Angeles, San Diego, and Ventura Counties Become First Southern California Jurisdictions to Require Written Social Distancing Protocol

Requires Essential Businesses (including schools and educational institutions) to prepare and implement written Social Distancing Protocols in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Ventura Counties.

Social Distancing Protocol Requirements
Under the new Los Angeles, San Diego, and Ventura County Orders, all Essential Businesses, including schools and educational institutions, must prepare and post a “Social Distancing Protocol” for each of their facilities in the County frequented by the public or employees.”
Social Protocol Requirements:

  • Each Essential Business must post their Social Distancing Protocol (SDP) at or near the entrance of each facility
  • Easily viewable by public and employees
  • Essential Business must also provide a copy of SDP to each employee who performs any work at the facility
  • Essential Businesses must also provide a copy of SDP to authorities upon demand
