What an incredible site visit following Memorial Day! 🪖 Today we had the opportunity to visit Frontsight Military Outreach and learn all about their mission! Many veterans face the fear of not only going to combat but also the fear of coming home. For many of them it’s the loss of the brotherhood and sense of belonging. The feeling of not being part of a unit and not being able to adapt to civilian life is difficult, demanding and dangerous. Often these issues lead to isolation. FrontSight was established in 2008 by a group of mothers looking for a way to help their loved ones. The effort started growing and soon FrontSight became a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization operated entirely by veterans who share and understand the needs and struggles faced by veterans. FrontSight builds the bond, brotherhood, and camaraderie they know is vital to creating thriving lives for veterans and their families.
