This meeting is open to all general members and is an excellent opportunity to discuss various Bills and legislative issues.

New Member Receptions
1st Thursday, 5:30 pm @ New Location Every Other Month

The new member reception meets monthly at 5:30 PM. The meeting is designed to welcome new members into the chamber and the business community. New members are introduced and given the opportunity to address the members, Ambassadors & Chamber staff present. A photo opportunity also takes place which is published in the New Members section of the Ontario Business Journal.

Business Development
4th Thursday, 12:00 pm @ Hyatt Place

Meets on a monthly basis in partnership with the City of Ontario; Brian McGowan and the City of Ontario’s Director of Economic Development, Mary Jane Olhasso. There are approximately 6 teams that have divided up the City into various sections. These various teams “cold call” on local companies and survey the concerns, issues and assess the overall needs of each particular business.

Ambassador Corps
4th Wednesday, 11:30 am @ Chamber Office

Every organization has its brain, eyes, and ears, without which it could not function effectively. The heart of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce is its Ambassador Corps. Ambassadors give of their time and boundless energy to ensure that every Chamber event runs in a friendly and efficient manner. New recruits are always welcome. Ambassador meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 11:30 am at the Chamber Office.
